MOLLY SMISKO

MOLLY SMISKO

a virtual reality installation comprised of water, sand and a participant who can interact with the materials in order to explore virtual worlds.

Assimilation

The project exhibited at the Chelsea College of Art 2016 BA Graduate Show as an interactive virtual reality installation. It worked with smells, sounds, and physical triggers such as wind that reacted to the participants movement and interaction within the space. The outcome is an immersive experience that takes over many senses at once to create a tactile virtual reality.

It uses the HTC Vive virtual headset technology along with Leap Motion hand tracking and Arduino capabilities.
